Bacon is Trending on Twitter

The hashtag: #replacebooktitleswithbacon is trending on Twitter. We have Elissa Schapell, and Carolyn Kellogg of Jacket Copy to thank (blame?) for this pleasant time-suck.

The idea is simple – replace one word in the title of a book with the word “bacon.” Some examples to get you started (with their original titles):

Tender is the Bacon (Tender is the Night)
The Curious Incident of the Bacon in the Nighttime (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime)
Even Cowgirls Gets the Bacon (Even Cowgirls Get the Blues)
Breakfast of Bacon (Breakfast of Champions)
The Importance of Being Bacon (The Importance of Being Earnest)
Bacon on Rye (Ham on Rye)
The Girl with the Bacon Tattoo (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo)

Be creative and don’t forget to send me your favorites.
