NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) begins today. The goal is to write a 175 page (50,000 words) novel in thirty days. Much of the writing will be terrible, but the point is to get the words down on paper.

Last year, 165,000 people took the plunge. Over 30,000 made it to the finish line. If you’ve ever dreamed of writing a novel, what are you waiting for?

On your mark. Get set. Write!
